Velora is a sanctuary for two. Unlike social networks built for broadcasting, it's a digital space designed exclusively for couples, strengthening real relationships through shared memory, intentional communication, and closeness that persists even when you're apart.
Atlas is our academic research platform: a questionnaire and survey studio built for researchers who care about rigor, and about the people answering their questions. From validated scales to a respondent-first flow, every detail is built to hold up under review.
Velinisse Studios isn't a single product. It's a small, expanding constellation of thoughtfully crafted digital experiences. Each app shares the same philosophy: private by default, honest by design. Velora and Atlas are live, and Haven is on its way.

Velinisse Studios was founded, designed, and built entirely by me. But the studio wasn't the first idea. Before it, there was a much smaller one: something built for one person, during a stretch of my life I'd rather not detail here, except to say that almost nothing about it felt safe. Andrea Shanissi did. Without ever trying to, she gave me back the feeling of being noticed, of being remembered, of mattering to someone. I built the first version of what became Velinisse just to hold onto that feeling. Every product this studio has made since is, quietly, still chasing it: somewhere safe enough to be yourself in. A sanctuary, long before that word ever made it onto a landing page.
Andrea didn't write any code, and she holds no role in how the studio runs. What she gave arrived earlier, and matters more. She has an unusual gift for noticing: for remembering the detail someone mentioned once in passing, for treating an ordinary day like it deserves to be kept. Long before "human-centered" was a phrase on this website, she showed me what it actually feels like to be looked after. That's the whole reason this studio builds sanctuaries instead of just software.
Some ideas begin as products. This one began as somewhere safe to land.
Every studio has a founder. Mine also has a reason.
